We are pleased to inform our readers that the ASME JOURNAL OF HEAT TRANSFER will be published monthly beginning January 2005. As you know, the journal has been published bi-monthly since February 2001. By increasing the frequency of the journal, we hope to reduce the time from the submittal to the publication of archival papers. The increased frequency will also provide the technical community with rapid access to the latest research in thermal sciences and engineering thereby allowing researchers to reference the latest work in the field. Authors are urged to submit their new findings for quick dissemination to the technical community through the ASME JOURNAL OF HEAT TRANSFER. In addition, no mandatory page charges are levied on papers up to nine journal pages in length.
I would like to personally thank the readers, the reviewers, and the contributors to the Journal, and I look forward to receiving new and exciting works for publication.
