Abstract
A spectral element is developed for analyzing acoustic wave propagation through multi-layered panels. The elements may be conveniently joined to model complex structures composed of many layers of solids and fluids. The element exactly models the in-plane responses over large domains. Results for the impact of single and double panel systems are presented.
