Abstract
Consolidation is one of the major problems in clayey foundation settlements. This paper presents a user-friendly software developed by the authors, based on finite element (FE) method including the concept of infinite elements. The software is found to be very efficient tool for the analysis of consolidation settlement potentials of bridge approaches founded on clayey soils.
